Watched Inception today and let me just tell you that it was the BEST FRICKIN' MOVIE EVER.

(mind-blowing, right?)

It totally lived up to ALL the hype about it, and although I only understood like only 80% of it, (like what the Taxi driver told us. WE HAD TO SHARE A TAXI BECAUSE THE BUSES WERE PACKED LIKE CRAZY) what I did understand was screaming that if you don't watch this movie, you live a very sad, sad life.

Everything in the film meshed together so darn perfectly and you so don't feel lost as well. The audience I was sitting in was brilliant too, laughing in all the right places and all that. Like there were brilliant responses, from shocked gasps, amused chuckles to spontaneous applause. At the (SUPER SUPER BRILLIANT AND INSPIRING) ending, everybody was like: "WHAT THE-" and then we started clapping and everybody was debating how the movie really really ended as we walked out of the cinema.

And I was sad to say that through the whole movie I kept thinking about tension and suspense techniques. I think the (writer? producer? director?) used brilliant repetition of lines and images that was just so damn breathtaking and sometimes creepy and makes the whole thing a nail-biting experience. The person that played Mal was perfect. To me, she was the one that the whole movie was centered about. (though Leo was not too bad himself. He finally broke out of the baby-boy-face roles)

In short, watch Inception.

You're waiting for a train; a train that will take you far away. You know where you hope this train will take you, but you can't be sure. But it doesn't matter - because we'll be together.
