YES! BASEBALL SEASON IS HERE! (gah, I can't believe I only found out now)
Anyways, my favourite team, the New York Yankees (predictable, yes, but hey! not much of a choice since ESPN ONLY SHOWS YANKEE MATCHES GAHHHH) won the League last year! (yay!) One problem though - Nick Swisher's still there! D: I mean, yeah, he hit that home run the last game, but he's frickin 2 FOR 37 OR SOMETHING AT HOME WHAT'S WRONG WITH HIM (random rambling going on) and my Dad's favourite player, Johnny Damon, was traded to the Tigers and you should have seen his face when he found out. It was like they were showing us the Yankee line-up then my dad was like: HEY! WHERE'S DAMON?! and then his face went from O: to DDDDD:
Anyhow, my favourite player is Ichiro, and a Yankee vs Mariners game isn't nowhere near so.. =.= (watch Ichiro's graceful leap *church choir divine harmony plays in background*) Second favourite is the Youkilis person from the Red Sox, because he has a really really weird starting post (he swings his bat madly above his head and glares at you above his bushy ginger moustache) and my third favourite is Mariano Rivera from the Yanks :D (Yesterday I called him Mario Rivera. my dad was like MARI-A-NO LAH)
