It's December, and you know what that means........
No, take your mind outta the gutter. Not winter wonderland either, due to Singapore's geography, but the (almost) international celebration of Christmas/Hanukkah/Sun-god-festival thing!
Yes, on this special part of the year, old grudges would be forgotten and new grudges made, new resolutions would be forged and the old ones..well, we'd come around to that sooner or later. But one thing's universal: it's a time for fun (or not)!
Whip out your chocolate and meat (tofu if you're vegetarian), dig out your fake plastic tree from the closet, or, even better, cut one down from your friendly neighbour's lawn, for it's time to celebratefree gifts the season of giving!

Since the writer would be going on holiday on the 10th and coming back on Christmas day itself, the 10 days countdown to Christmas will begin...15 days early (to the tune of 12 days of Christmas)
