Hey, hey, hey!!!

Wow, had a sudden influx of new books to read due to many trips to my school's library, the national library and Borders. So the following is a list of the highlights.

1) Perfume
Yes, i do believe i mentioned something about the book and its related movie in a previous post. But the book is just AWESOME (in your face, Gwee) and its definitely a must-read.

2) Many many in Death books
WOOOOOOTS

3) The Graveyard Book
This novel by Neil Gaiman is definitely a very interesting read, and narrated in a slightly ironic way. Hmm. The ending was unexpected and very very satisfactory. Slightly bittersweet and makes you nostalgic for something you never had. Story is about a boy raised in a graveyard who has a motley crew of murderers trying to kill him.

4) Vampire Academy series
Yeap, another clone playing on the not-so-recent craze about vampires, started off by productions of the likes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Twilight. However, this series is...i wont go as far as saying that it is on par with Percy Jackson or anything but well, its an entertaining read. Better than Twilight at any rate. The main character actually has a semi-personality. Story is about a vampire guardian who has to guard a royal vampire, while meeting minor setbacks like massacres, betrayals, tragedies and the taste of forbidden fruit. Cliched it may be, but it is an enjoyable read.

5) Pendragon books 7,8,9
FINALLY, after 5 months i actually managed to hunt down the books after Book 6 of the Pendragon saga. All at one go! woots! Well, the plot does not gravitate much from the other books of the series, so only read it if you want to know what happens to Robert "Bobby" Pendragon! Story is about a boy whose 'uncle' suddenly revealed to him that he is a Traveler and has to travel between dimensions to stop this evil dude named Saint Dane.

Wow, that was exciting. XD. anyways, to end it off, my favourite quote from all the books mentioned above!

"Goddamn sneaking candy thief found my cache."

Peabody pursed her lips. "You had candy in the file cabinet." She angled her head. "Under M?"

"M for Mine, damn it."
