Leprechauns, Kwantan and Ghosts

Hey, hey, hey! It was saint patrick's day yesterday! Lets commemorate those great Irish authors like Eoin Colfer and Nora Roberts by watching a...........................River Dance! *applauds and cheers* that was awesome, thank you dancers. AND i just came back from two camps back-to-back! Firstly on Friday to Sunday, i went to Kwantan!!!! It was really really great there and we just sang and ate and annoyed all day long! We visited loads of natural wonders like caves, beaches and a turtle sanctuary! (ok thats not natural) and and and for the first time in my life, i bought a shirt on my own!~ gimme a round of applause. *claps politely* i also visited a pasar malam and a dried food store and bought a mocha shake and keropok respectively. ANDDDDDDDDD the second camp was DRAMA CAMP! the highlight of the camp was definitely the nightwalk. and were we satisfied with some miserly glow-in-the-dark skeletons and some cheap toilet paper hung in some second-rate room? NO, comrades, NO! (reading too much animal farm) HELLO??? this is DRAMA. first, the seniors brought us around the WHOLE SCHOOL, telling us some really fake ghost stories (but it was told so convincingly that you could almost believe it) then one of the guides go missing and everybody goes -_- because it was pretty expected. then the missing guide didnt pop out anywhere to scare us like we expected her to (cos we say the surviving guide give a signal as we passed by a classroom) so we thought she went to see the drama teacher or something. strike one. ok, so we were just innocently waiting in the music room, waiting for our guide to come back and actually take us on the real nightwalk when this NCC girl walks in and asks us to look under our sleeping bags. we look underneath our sleeping bag (i thought somebody lost something) and then this girl cries out: I FOUND IT! IT SAYS GO TO THE GENERAL OFFICE! so we went to the general office. on the way there as we were on top of a bridge, we looked over the edge and saw one of our seniors decked out in white swaying on the deck above the lake. so we go O_O?! once we reach the general office, the next clue says go to the eco-pond. so we go to the ecopond (with the swaying ghost) and picks up our next clue. it says go to the track. so we planned to go through the garden to the track. we turn the corner to the garden and this ULTRA SCARY GHOST WITH THIS ULTRA SCARY WHITE MASK IS HOLDIN HANDS WITH A BLOOD-DRENCHED GHOST AND IS STARING RIGHT AT US so i thought: ok..we're on the right track. so i walk forwards to them and they walk forward to me and this was when MY WHOLE GROUP SCREAMED AND CRIED: RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! so i turned and bolted up to the second floor. then the group screamed: THEY'RE COMING TOWARDS USSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS so they stampeded all the way to the fourth floor, thus rendering the clues irrelevant. strike two As we were walking past the fourth floor toilet, 3 girls behind me screamed, saying they saw a girl in the mirror. so again, i ran instinctively (my idea of panic is to run silently away, real quickly) to the gallery. there, the real fun begins and though the ghosts there didnt really strike me as scary, apparently they were scary to the others and we ran around the whole fourth floor (we chanced upon a (fake) bloody sanitary pad stuck to the wall and some photographs of the missing guides with some pen marks crossing their heads and stuff like that) so we were like WHERE'S THE BLOODY (pun intended) CLUE and all the ghosts points towards this corridoor that was blocked with naked barbie dolls. so we were like -_- and crossed the barbie dolls and we rescued our bound and gagged "hostage" (the missing guide) and left the other hostages there (ha). so we were walking down the corridoor and the hostage say we should take the lift down, so we walk towards the lifts and i space out. suddenly the hostage screams and runs away and i go: where's the ghost? so i was expecting this human-sized ghost to pop out and instead this THREE-METRE TALL WOODEN SCARY MANEQUIN (say hi to charles, a prop from our previous SYF) pops out and charges towards us and i go O_O?!?!?!?!!?!??!?!?! cos there was no way to run but luckily Charles went back to his hiding place (after knocking his head on the ceiling beam) and we go down this "haunted" staircase and back to the music room! and it turns out that we were the only ones that completed the course we bypassed the track area AND the jade springs AND the courtyard AND the squash courts (which was apparently very scary as well. aw.) and the others had to stop because the band people were complaining that we were making too much noise from all the screaming. and guess what? the girl in the bathroom? it was not one of our seniors. it may really be a real ghost after all. strike three. strikeout! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The writer don't care if you don't get the baseball anologies |
