Pig, Uno and Blackjack 9 December 2008 9:52 am

Hey, hey, hey!!!

Over the weekends, i went with my maternal cousins to Kluang to visit my mother's aunt's family. So that means i'm visiting my great-aunt and my uncle twice removed... which is extremely weird because my uncle's one year younger than me. So we basically played card games like mad when we were there, in particular this game called Pig. It goes like this. Each player is dealt 5 cards and they have to try to get the 5 cards to be in order. Exp: Q,K,A,1,2. So you put the remainding cards in the centre and reveal the first card. If you need it, slam the card. The first player that slams the card gets the card and discards one card in his hand. If another player wants the card that the first player discarded, he/she slams it. And so on and forth.

Ba Ku Teh, some sorta vegetable rice (VERY NICE), you tiao, roasted meat and salted vegetables.

Yeap! My camera ran out of battery right about here. After that, we went to my grandmother's neighbour's house. She cooked mashed potato, Shepherd's pie, onions, some sorta very nice meat sauce, chicken and brocolli. For drinks there was chicken wine soup and homemade iced lemon tea. SHIOK!!!! lol. i think that's the first time i typed that.

So basically the day drew to an end around there. We played card games there and watched Prince Caspian there too. In the hotel room we just spammed card games. LOL.

And I got a mosquito bite ON MY FACE. And now it's totally becoming very red and the skin's flaking off. Argh.

Last night, my family watched 21. It's based on a true story about 5 students and a teacher from MIT that revolutionized blackjack by counting the cards. For once, i was actually very satisfied by the ending. A must-see movie!!!!
