Hahaha. Think i'm gonna do a food review for the dinner i had 2 hours ago.

For dinner today, my parents and I (sister's still in Vietnam) went to this restaurant called Firestation or something like that. Anyways, its near a building called Spectra (it has a really bright sign) and it's along Upper Bukit Timah Road so you can totally check it out.

Anyways, at first when we got there (around 7.10) it was okay. The parking was all right, except the car beside my father's was a really lousy parker. Nearly rolled down the cliff.

The restaurant was quite busy so we got allocated this table beside this huge opening in the wall where the view was quite... not awe-inspiring. Then soon it became full house, so no waiter came over to our table as it was quite close to a corner. Finally, a waiter came over and we placed our orders. We ordered French Onion Soup (i am so gonna list them out. I love food. *drools*), Mushroom Soup, Chicken something Pizza, Penne Bolognese (can't spell) and Chocolate Mousse.

While we were waiting, this huuuuge bee came in and landed on my hand which was on my lap so i jumped about a foot into the air. Then it flew up and started attacking my arm on the table. But finally it decided to ignore me and flew up to the lamp on the ceiling and buzzed there.

The food was all right. The onion soup was good, i didn't try the mushroom soup, the pizza was excellent: it had an extremely thin and crispy base, the pasta? not so good. The mousse is good if you want to share it with people: it is quite rich, but very very nice. It came with raspberry and chocolate balls. But it was $12. WOW. expensive.

Overall, the food was good, the service disappointing and the ambience average.
