Performance Day!
28 May 2008
3:35 pm
Today, the SC Drama Society performed at the language arts fest in school! We did the performance twice, the first time at 10.30 and the other at 11.45. It was really funny! (to me anyways). I think my favourite scene was the egyptian scene. It goes something like this: [slaves pulling rope] Slave 1: (??? i wasnt really paying attention, sorry). Use your creativity, they say! Slave 2: Free fitness training, they say! Slave Driver: Hey! Stop talking and use your triceps! Piah! (to imitate the sound of a whip) All slaves: Urgh! (they dragged it out real exaggeratedly, to make it more funny) Woman 1: Excuse me, may I know the way to the bathroom? Slave Driver: Cant u read? Woman 1: (reads hieroglyphics) this...way...to...the...toilet. Thanks! Woman 2: (gestures for woman 1 to wait) Wait. (walks to slave driver, woman 1 proceeds without waiting) Excuse me, may I take a picture Slave Driver: (sounding pleased) Sure. You heard the man. Piah! [Slaves + Slave Driver posing] [Woman 2 making chipping noises like she was engraving something on a stone tablet] Woman 2: Thanks! Hahahaha!! something like that anyways After our performance, the Drama society from ACS(I) performed. They were doing a war memorial based on a story which name i cant remember. Anyways they sang ALOT of songs all in the tune of High School Musical 1 and 2. It was really funny! In the end, everybody died so (to me) the play was nicer. Oh yeah, and tomorrow I would be going to Taiwan! I think the part of the trip which I anticipate the most would be watching movies on the plane. The writer is feeling bored. |
